ANSR-17 Photos

A set of high resolution, close up photos of the payload train right after lift off and landing.

ANSR-17 starts its flight

With landing prediction software, we are in place to watch the payload train descend and land.

About 2000' above the ground, the chute is fully inflated

The bottom package is 100' from touch down

Jack, W7JLC, is less than 100' away from the payload train as it touches down.  The first two package are on the ground, as we briefly wait for the payload computer and parachute to land.  Note the parachute has already started to deflate on landing.
