Learned ANSR-3, October 14, 2001 This was the first flight of the Micro Beacon package. We experienced nominal performance.  Some
data packets were lost when other stations transmitted on frequency.
Solution
- Add digipeater and DCD squelch to system firmware.The
internal electronics temperature dropped to -40° F during descent.
Solution
- Build an enhanced package to better insolate electronics. Test on
ground using thermal chamber.Flight Data
